The Patient Financial Services Representative supports the mission of providing quality healthcare to the patients of WhidbeyHealth by performing a variety of duties that support the financial health and well-being of the organization. The PFS Representative may be responsible for coordinating patient referrals and subsequent follow up, verifying insurance and providing financial counseling to assist with self-pay accounts, as well as billing and collection of insurance and self-pay accounts. This position is expected to demonstrate professional behavior, display appropriate conduct and show consideration, respect and patience towards all patients, families, staff and professional affiliates. Perform a variety of duties
involved in storing, maintaining and protecting the integrity and security of patient medical records.
This position is responsible for filing, retrieving and distributing medical records, completing chart audits, completing release of information requests, as well as other duties to support the HIM Department or Clinic specific functions. The HIM Technician is expected to complete all work within the guidelines of HIPAA, hospital policy and procedures, and maintain confidentiality of protected information at all times.

Infant Toddler Educator

Toddler Learning Center currently seeking part to full time Infant Toddler Educator to be a member of an early intervention team for families with children birth to three years of age with developmental delays.  Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Education.  Valid Washington State Teacher Certification with Special Education and/or Early Childhood Education Endorsement.  Experience working with young children and their families preferred.

Full Time Whidbey Commissary Shelf Stocker (Nights)
M-Sat, 9pm to approximately 4:30am. (Times may vary, generally 35-40 hours a week). Sunday night off and an additional night off during the week.
Responsibilities and physical requirements include but are not limited to: Operating pallet jacks, ability to read UPC codes to accurately place product in designated area and bailing cardboard. Must be able to reach, kneel, squat, walk, stand and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time. Ability to endure up to 9 hours a day of standing, walking. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs. repetitively throughout shift.

Patient Registrar Physician Practice

The Patient Registrar for the Specialty and Primary Care Clinics (SPCC) is responsible for the daily operations of the front office including reception, scheduling and patient registration. This role may be required to provide back up to the HIM Technician as needed to provide optimal clinical flow and is key to the internal and external communications of the clinic. One year of front office experience in an outpatient clinical setting is required. In this fast paced environment, the ability to organize, plan and prioritize is essential for a successful patient and office flow. The Patient Registrar is the first impression position in the outpatient clinical office setting which requires this person to demonstrate professional behavior, display appropriate conduct and show consideration, respect and patience toward all patients, visitors and staff at all times.​

-Able to think and react quickly
-Must have gymnastics, tumbling, trampoline and/or dance coaching experience
-Commit for entire season- min. of 1 year

-Must be willing to take courses through USAG
